Kenneth Clay Pickett, Sr., age 83, of Fayetteville, TN, passed away peacefully at his home Wednesday, November 13, 2024.

Born in New Hope, Tennessee, Kenneth was a 1959 graduate of Flintville High School. He worked at Inland Steel Co. in East Chicago, Indiana from 1959 until he retired in 1990. Kenneth was an avid hunter and an experienced, Top Gun competitive shooter with his friends at the Elk Valley Shooters Association (EVSA). He enjoyed raising hunting dogs and spending time with his grandchildren.

Kenneth is survived by his wife: Earlene Pickett; two children: Kenny (Tammy) Pickett, Jr. and Cindy (Ed) Kosakowski; three siblings: Mac Pickett, Janice King, and Judy Blenderman; six grandchildren: Misty Pickett, Kristy (Albert) Homburger, Amanda (Mitchell) Scheer, Linsay (Ricky) Vickers, Jessica (Jason) Helton, and Heather (Heath) Curtis; eleven great-grandchildren: Devin Scheer, Taylor Scheer, Howard Homburger, Maggie Homburger, Brennen Vickers, Berkley Vickers, Kendall Helton, Emerly Helton, Ellaina Curtis, Logan Curtis, and Maizie Curtis; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Henry and Kathlene Pickett; brother: Billy Joe Pickett; sister Marie Pickett; daughter: Kathy Pickett-Quick; and beloved cousin: Doug Pickett.

Graveside services will be Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Flintville Cemetery with Rev. Ray Gardner officiating.
